RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and identify potential grant opportunities that align with our mission and goals

  • Develop and write grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization's needs and goals

  • Work closely with our team to gather the necessary information and materials to support grant applications

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that grant applications are aligned with organizational priorities

  • Coordinate and manage the submission of grant applications, including meeting deadlines and following up with funders

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including funders and partners

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in grant writing, with a focus on fabrication, design, and makerspaces

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Experience with a variety of funding sources, including government, corporate, and foundation grants

  • Passion for fabrication, design, and makerspaces and a desire to promote their growth and development

LOCATION

  • Los Angeles, CA

  • Remote is ok

SALARY

  • $50 - $60 per hour
