Cutting Board Intro
This class introduces students to the basic vocabulary of woodworking and various tools someone might have or want in their own home shop without having to invest in large machines.
Cutting Board Full Experience
This class is one step above our Intro class and for students who want the Full Experience of learning some of the bigger and more dangerous woodworking equipment in a structured environment.
Advanced Box Design
This class will refresh students' knowledge from the cutting board class and expand on tools and techniques, including grain matching, re-sawing, glue-up strategy, and how to make six pieces of wood fit together.

This class introduces students to the basic lingo of woodworking and a variety of tools someone might have or want in their own home shop without having to invest in large machines.
CUTTING BOARD FULL EXPERIENCE
This class is one step above our Intro class, and for students who want the Full Experience of learning some of the bigger and more dangerous woodworking equipment in a structured environment.

No, a class is not mandatory to join the makerspace. However, all Residents & Flex Members are required to have basic experience and knowledge of tools in order to be approved.
